Traditional Dance and Music Society of the Ozarks We're people who love contra and other traditional community dancing, and the live string band music that's driven the dance for centuries. We're an informal, grassroots, non-profit group which has been organizing dances in the Springfield area since 1991. We sponsor regular dances, take trips to other dance communities, and host other dance and music related activities. We're all volunteers.
